The transport index is measured at one meter from the external surface of the package in units of mR/h (or mSv/h x100). The number is to be rounded up to the next tenth (first decimal place) i.e 1.26 should read 1.3 on the label. Reference: 49CFR173.403 and IATA 10.5.14. Hope this helps.
