airborne suppression

Does anyone have any knowledge of where airborne suppression systems
have been used to mitigate a contamination or release event? I heard it
was effective in suppressing iodine release at TMI when the containment
pressure coolant spray kicked in but I am particularly interested in any
situations where a spray was used specifically to knock down airborne
dust as opposed to being a secondary benefit of condensing steam.
