Re[2]: ABHP Exam, common sense?

The AAHP Strategic Plan makes a brief mention of computerizing the
exam as a goal. You can view the plan at

        http://phantom.ehs.uiuc.edu/~aahp/

I believe there may also have been some discussion in the HPS
Newsletter or Health Physics in the past.

I think computerizing the exam would be a great idea. If the exam is
modeled along the lines of the CSP exam, a candidate could sit for the
exam any time during the year and would be able to take the exams in
more locations if Sylvan Learning Centers were used to administer the
     exam.

I hear that there are plans to change the format of Part II several
years from now. [?2001??] I am told the new format would be multiple
choice and short answer questions. As someone who sat through Part II,
I know the current format does challenge one. It will be interesting to
see if the new Part II format is as challenging. Then again, maybe what
I have heard is incorrect??? Anybody out there heard anything official
about the change?
