Harshaw Dosimeter Automatic Opener
Greetings all,
I am passing this on for Ralph Miller who has this device. Please respond
to his email below.
Ralph would like to sell an electrically operated opening device for
Harshaw Model dosimeter holders. It uses the standard manual opening
device with an electric solenoid (120VAC) operated by a push button. The
dosimeter holder is placed over a protruding opener and the button is
pressed to squeeze the handle and pop open the hanger (those of you with
Harshaw dosimeters know what I'm talking about). The device was originally
designed to relieve the stress on a persons hand while opening the hanger.
The cost is $249.00 plus shipping.
