     Dear Colleague, 

     I would like to inform you that 

     The European Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics EFOMP and the Hellenic Association of Medical Physicists HAMP are organizing the: 
 
 

VI International Conference on Medical Physics
 "Patras Medical Physics 99"

     with a central theme: 

 New Methods and Advanced Technology in Medical Diagnosis and Therapy

from 1 to 4 of September 1999, at the Conference Center of the University of Patras, Patras, Hellas (GR).  Also, a number of interesting satellite seminars will    be held before and after the conference. 

We are addressing primarily medical physicists, radiologists, radiotherapists and nuclear medicine specialists, but also engineers, technologists and nurses. Academics, health care professionals, hospital administrators, researchers and students from all over the world are expected to attend as well. 

A technical exhibition has been planned to take place inside the conference program, in order to provide the opportunity for direct contact of the manufacturers and suppliers with the users of biomedical technologies.
