TLD - because of the low energydependance and low doses You can measure.
Monthly - if there is any dose on the dosemeter You hardly can reconstruct, at which action You've got it.

I would like to know your opinion pertaining to the following:
TLD vs. Film badge
Monthly reporting vs. quarterly reporting.  
Please note that our requirement is to correctly monitor for X, gamma and
