C-14

Two questions concerning C-14:

1. How do I calculate the effective dose to a person from a urine sample?   
    

The concentration is for example 0.5 Bq/ml. What is the natural content   
    

of C-14 in the body and in the urine? Conversion factors to urine? ICRP   
    

do not give the answer.

2. What is the emission of C-14 from different research reactors? Is
there any methods to decrease the emission? Is neutron activation of O
and N in water the main source for C-14 in research reactors?
