This study was done 29 years ago.. so I really don't remember all
of the details! From what I do recollect, there were individuals who
worked in various stations within the system, and that it was
possible to measure an exposure. The exposure was measurable,
but not at levels to cause concern. I hope that was not the
implication others thought when I used the term "measurable". I
only mentioned that because of Charles's statement "just dumping
it in the sewer where it will decay, anyway, without causing more
unnecessary exposure to anyone ?"
Wish I could remember more, but the research and thesis was
published in June 1970, and that was quite some time ago...
