Job number NS7062. ENGINEERING POSITION, Brookhaven National Laboratory,
Environmental Services Division.  Requires a BS in engineering
(environmental, chemical or civil), environmental science, health physics or
related field, and three to five years' experience in the interpretation and
application of environmental regulations, especially the CWA, CAA, and SDWA.
Experience with environmental radiation and NESHAPs Subpart H required, as
is knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental requirements
applicable to air emissions. Knowledge of DOE orders is a plus. Will provide
technical support to Laboratory research initiatives to identify potential
environmental concerns affecting these activities. Primary focus will
include, but not be limited to, environmental radiation and radiological
NESHAPs compliance issues.  Salary range: $45K - $52K, commensurate with
experience and qualifications.
