RE: History Question of sorts
Dear colleagues,
As I happen to be a great Mel Brooks fan I can assure you that IT IS from
'Blazing Saddles' (1974):
Here's how it goes:
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Lamarr: "Be ready to attack Rock Ridge at noon tomorrow. Here's your badge."
Bandito: "Badges? We don't need no stinkin' badges."
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
If anybody is interested, I can send you audio file, either in AU or WAV
format.
You can also download it from:
http://userwww.service.emory.edu/~mgros/brooks/soundsbl.html
(Dear Melissa, please accept my apologies, I simply can't miss this one)
Kind regards

I thought it was from Mel Brooks' Blazing Saddles.

A phrase we have heard time and time again as we issue tld or film badges
is:
"We don't need no stinkin' badges!"
Were does this come from? I believe it comes from "treasure of the Sierra
Madres" and/or "blazing saddles" a colleague thinks it is from a James Bond
movie where someone was actually trying to get our man James to wear a rad
badge and he says "We don't need no stinkin' badges."
AND if you say this where did YOU get it from?
I know this is a little on the lighter side, but if anyone has any idea that
would be great.
