RE: History Question of sorts



Since this is becoming The Thread That Wouldn't Die, I'll ring in that the
earliest reference I've seen is in "Treasure of the Sierra Madre, in the
original form.  It has been extensively parodied, including in a science
fiction novel where the reference is to frozen embryos to be used to
establish an ecology: "We don' need no steenkeeng badgers!"  

Now let's all give it a rest.
