Any Freelance instrumentation types?

We are interested in having a detector built according to the
information given in Radiation Detection and Measurement, 2nd edition,
1989, by Glenn F. Knoll, page 156, section E. We want to investigate the
possibility of using a flow through ion chamber idea to get around the
filter size limitations in alpha spectroscopy. Anyone interested, please
