sampling Institute

I have just heard about the birth of an

INTERNATIONAL SAMPLING INSTITUTE

having the aim of promoting a better knowledge of the theory of sampling
and of its application.

Sampling is a most fundamental parameter and a prerequisite for significant
measurements. Do we care enough ?
