Pick teams constisting of a timekeeper and an M&M counter.  Give each team a 
different time interval to take 1/2 of the M&M's and eat them.  Have them 
raise their hand when they are own to 1.  Continue with your presentation, 
but perodically ask "how many  M&M's are left with each team?"  This would 
show different decay rates. 
(Obviously, other candies could be subsitiuted.)
