Re: Electronic Pocket Dosimeter Calibration



I suggest that when you re-calibrate, use a source that represents 
the primary spectrum your staff if exposed to. While I am not 
familiar with the Alkoka dosimeter, I am quite familiar with the 
MGP, SAIC, Siemens and several others, and the calibration 
source(s) used to calibrate are significant as to the response which 
affects the accuracy of the measurement. Does the Alkoka use a 
GM detection method, or, diodes?
