Ball park figures for tailings from the Ranger Uranium mine (average ore grade is about 0.3%)

Ra-226: 70kBq/kg = 1890pCi/g

Ra-228: 400Bq/kg = 11pCi/g

Assuming that I've done the conversion correctly....
