The above is always philosophically desireable. However, if you're a
student of TQM, one of the first things you learn is, that slogans
and goals that espouse "Zero Defects" should NEVER be used. If
this is your goal, the probability is that you will always fail. Work
on the assignable causes (where there is a measurable benefit and
there is a risk in not working on it) and leave the chance cuases
alone. Dollars spent to fight chance cuases are a waste of effort
and money.
