Subject: OVERVIEW OF DOSE ASSESSMENTS FOR CLEARANCE OF EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS
          FROM NUCLEAR FACILITIES.
Mike McKenzie-Carter, Science Applications International Corporation

A brief business meeting will begin about 7:30 to discuss the recent symposium
and the events that occurred around the NBC movie

?Atomic Train?, and to conduct
any other business that may be introduced. At about 7:45, Mike McKenzie-Carter
will present the subject talk. He will be presenting this talk at the HPS
Meeting in June. The subject is very timely. He will discuss dose assessments
that have been accomplished to support an effort by the Nuclear Regulatory
Commission to establish the technical basis for regulating of the clearance of
equipment and materials from regulatory control. The dose assessments identify
realistic critical groups that constitute a defensible technical basis for
potential clearance criteria.

With all the recent activities and Mike?s talk, this will be an interesting
meeting.
