Re Buttonwillow radwaste

The waste is 83 train cars of waste from a uranium processing plant
in Tonawanda, NY. It supposedly contains uranium, thorium, &
radium. It's waste from decomissioning the site and was sent to
Buttonwillow by the Army Corps of Engineers. They claim to have
gotten permission from California authorities, but Cal says they
did not. The Corps then said they don't agree that the waste is
radioactive since it is not regulated by the NRC.

The Buttonwillow site is a hazmat waste site.
