Rad Safety Technician Position at U of Nebraska
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln, has the following position open
RADIATION SAFETY/HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TECHNICIAN
University of Nebraska-Lincoln
Inspect laboratories, survey radioactive shipments and conduct sealed
source leak tests. Coordinate dosimetry program, collect
radioactive/hazardous wastes and process for shipment. Maintain associated
documentation. Associates Degree in physical, chemical or biological
science or related field plus two years experience in a laboratory or
research setting or equivalency. Valid Nebraska driver's license required.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Knowledge of radiation principles and
computer and record-keeping skills preferred. Must pass pre-employment
