After Nukes, Nature Thrives



The web address below is a link to an interesting article that states in
a national forum what many of us around the Aiken/Augusta area have
known for years...namely, that despite the misperception that radiation
always kills, there is a local example of a ecosystem that thrives in
the midst of radioactive contamination.

Unfortunately, the article also contains some of the "highly
radioactive/nuclear dump" type of language that tends to sensationalize
it, but there are several good quotes from local scientists.
