Ginseng as Radiation Exposure Protection

Something was brought to my attention this morning that you RADSAFERs out there
may find interesting, if not amusing.

A fairly large Northern Michigan grocery chain sent out the usual sales flyers
this past weekend. The flyer contained an add for Spartan brand Ginseng.
Included in the add was the following statement promoting the use of Ginseng:
"Ginseng is useful for bronchitis, circulatory problems, diabetes, infertility,
lack of energy, stress and to protect against the effects of radiation
exposure."

I personally use a Ginseng product for my own private reasons but had no idea
that, as a radiation protection professional, I should be promoting its use for
protection against the effects of radiation exposure. Comments?
