AW: C-14 considerations
The Conversionfactor for C-14 is 5.8e-10Sv/Bq, for 10 µCi = 370 kBq the effective dose will be 21,5e-5 Sv.

Betreff: C-14 considerations
Dear Colleagues,
Would anyone know if there are any considerations when dosing a pregnant or
nursing woman with 10 uCi of Carbon-14 to diagnosis bacterial overgrowth in
the GI tract? Since dose activity is small and the effective half life is
about 10 days, I would initially think not but I could be incorrect.
Thank you for your assistance.
