RE: Enforcement Action against a Southern California University

Thanks,
I got a response from someone who was a former State of CA Inspector who was
involved in the case. The time frame was 87/88, I'll see if I can access
anything from the LA Times. What I am looking for is an article I can
reference if I refer to the incident.

Thanks
Peter

You are correct. This occurred prior to my becoming director of this
program, but I believe several investigators were charged with
misdemeanors. I think there was a settlement agreement, which required
some significant money to be spent on their radiation safety program. I
don't have the time right now to find it in our files, but I think there
were
some articles in the LA Times, & you may be able to find something there.
I believe it was sometime around 1985-88. Sorry- I just don't know any
more than that off the top of my head.

Group,
I wanted to refer to the incident in a document and it was suggested I
reference it better. My recollection is that 10 Investigators were cited by
Los Angeles County [Status wrt California similar to agreement states &
NRC]. Can anyone give me a publication reference or confirm any details.

Thanks In advance.
