Kim- If you aren't already familiar with CIRMS (Council on Ionizing
Radiation Measurements and Standards), I would encourage you to contact
Katy Nardi, the Executive Secretary, and request a copy of the Second
Report on National Needs in Ionizing Radiation Measurements and Standards.
She can be reached at (770)622-0026 or at KatyNardi@aol.com. The CIRMS
web page is www.cirms.tis.doe.gov The needs report divides measurement
needs into four categories, including medical, public/environmental rad
protection, occupational rad protection, and industrial applications and
materials effects.
