RE: Litre/dm3



According to Robert A. Nelson in "Guide for Metric Practice," (Physics Today
Buyer's Guide August 1999), the liter (L) is a unit accepted for use with
the SI and is defined as follows:

1L = 1 dm^3 = 0.001 m^3.

Note, that the liter itself is not an SI unit.
