Re: Source for Mylar

Hello Mr Gaul
You might try contacting the manufacturer of your detector for the
mylar you need. Barring that, you could contact: Alexander Vacuum
Research, Inc., 16 Butternut Street, P.O. Box 589, Greenfield, MA,
Phone: (413) 774-2267, E-mail: AVR@Metalon.com, Fax: (413) 773-8337, Web
Site: www.metalon.com
they can supply or fabricate just about anything you would need.

I am looking for a source of Mylar to use for replacing detector
windows. Does
anyone have a source(s) for mylar? Preferably approximately 80
microgram per
centimeter square and gold plated. Any potential density thickness may
be
considered.

Thanks in advance.
