Re: Opinions about CHAMMP software

I don't know too much about CHAMMP, however, we are purchasing HP Assistant
from On Site Systems (?) for our entire radiation safety related database.
They will work with you and customize the program for your needs. Because
they are making so many changes just for us, we don't have a full version
yet, but I am hoping that it is going to be much better than our current
homemade systems. Anyway, our computer support person looked into several
software options for us, and decided that CHAMMP was not as good for what
we needed. I think that the main reasons related to computer friendliness,
but I don't remember for sure. If you would like to ask him, his email
address is ga12@cornell.edu. (You can let him know I sent you to him.) He
could also supply you with the information to get in touch with the makers
of HP Assistant. Hope this helps.
