new neutron detector

frantaj@aecl.ca recently posted an article that appeared in the Sept 4, 1999
issues of New Scientist regarding the development of a new fiber-optic detector.
The article mentions that Canberra Industries has license to the technology and
that we are producing these detectors. As a result of the recent acquisition of
the Nuclear Measurements Division (Tennelec) of Oxford Instruments plc, Canberra
did acquire an interest in this technology. We are not, however, currently
manufacturing this unit. Any specific questions regarding this exciting
