Re: SI Units

This discussion of SI units reminds me of the old editorial in SCIENCE
magazine that said: "Switching to the metric system will be a new milestone
for American science."

As far a the U.S. being the radiation leader, consider that 75% of the
world's nuclear power plants are in other countries and that none of the 25
new nuclear power plants that are on the drawing board will be built in the
U.S.
