Methods for determining swab/swipe efficiecies.

Radsafers,

I am researching a method to determine the swab/swipe efficiencies of
a few select materials for loose surface contamination monitoring.

At this point, I have found next to no literature describing a
methodology to determine the pick-up efficiency for a material. 

If anyone out there can point me in a direction where information of this
kind can be found, it would be greatly appreciated.
