Characterizing dose from X-ray machines

Greetings all,

I would like to perform a series of measurements with dosimeters on dental X-ray
machines operating at different voltages and differing amounts of inherent
filtration. The kVp and filtration would that typical of dental X-ray machines.
Would it be realistic to simulate this with an industrial X-ray machine (at a
standard Cal facility), varying the kVp and filtration, or is there a facility
where I can do this with well characterized dental machines?

Suggestions welcome.

Yours,

Rob
