Re:False alarms on DMC model 90 electronic dosimeters

Sounds like an RF interference problem.  The MGP DMC-90 dosimeter is very
susceptible to RF interference from things such as radios, welding units, etc. 
Unlike newer MG models, these dosimeters rely on a physical barrier to protect
against RF fields, however, the barrier isn't always perfect and, with a little
percussive persuasion, can become dislodged.
