irradiated golf balls

Hello people.

I've just received an email from our Public Affairs group.  It seems that
subsequent to my posting the information about AECL selling golf balls, they
have been inundated with calls requesting golf balls.  

While they do sell irradiated golf balls here as souvenirs, Public Affairs
certainly does not want the world to think AECL is in the golf ball
business.  AECL develops, markets and manages the construction of CANDU
power reactors and MAPLE research reactors.  They do not sell golf balls
commercially and the visitors center does not have enough staff to handle
potential demands from the many golfers around the world.

So please, unless you are on at the Chalk River, cease and desist calling
poor Pat.  She may never speak to me again, and I do value her friendship.
