--There has been substantial radon research on dogs. The most
spectacular result was that smoking cigarettes seemed to be protective
against lung cancer in dogs. There was a radon vs lung cancer effect but I
don't remember what it was. Fred Cross at Battelle Pacific Northwest Lab
would be very knowledgeable about this.
