	The following job opening is available at Wyle Laboratories, Western
Service Center, Beaumont, CA

	Job Description:  Radiation Safety Officer.  Managing and
supervising the daily operations concerning the use of radioactive material
in a test facility.  Duties include overseeing the use of radioactive
material in compliance with a state specific license, maintaining and
developing procedures and radiation work permits, overseeing surveys of the
facility and the environment, personnel and environmental monitoring,
shipment and receipt of radioactive material and shipment of radioactive
waste, maintaining isotopic inventories, and calibration and maintenance of
instrumentation.  A  BS degree in physics/chemistry/biology and 5 years
health physics experience (nuclear utility preferred).   Individual should
have experience in dealing with regulatory agencies and nuclear power
utilities.  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and excellent
communication skills, the ability of organize, and the ability to interpret
