SAFETY OFFICER II 

              SALARY GRADE 68 $28,111-$43,924 VACANCY 402262 BA/BS IN
              SAFETY MANAGEMENT, OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY, INDUSTRIAL
              TECHNOLOGY OR A PHYSICAL SCIENCE AND 1 YEAR OF
              PROGRESSIVE OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH
              EXPERIENCE*. Radiation safety specialist responsible for
lab radiation
              safety compliance and surveillance programs including
sealed source leak
              test and inventory. Provide tech support for faculty/staff
working with
              radioactive materials and x-ray equipment; consultation
for new and
              current users of radioactive materials. Prefer BS in
Science or Health
              Physics and 2 years experience and a basic understanding
of radiation
              principles and measurement techniques. Also prefer NRRPT
certification.
