UCLA RSO position - decoded

Under the broad direction of the Director of the UCLA Office of Environment,
Health and Safety (EH&S), this newly created Radiation Safety Officer
position with also serve as the Associate Director of EH&S.  The position is
responsible for managing and directing the radiation safety program for the
entire UCLA campus and medical center.  In addition to managing a staff of
20 FTE, the RSO is also responsible for maintaining the campus broad-scope
license, acting as the liaison with regulatory agencies, and providing
leadership to the staff for program directions and activities.  The ideal
candidate will have at least 3 years experience working as an RSO at a major
research university that also an active medical center.  Salary range is
$5,725 to $10,308/month and is commensurate with experience.  Please contact
