RE: Ag-110m Production

The absorber material used in the control rods is silver-indium-cadmium
alloy, but these are sealed in stainless steel tubes. Also, capsules used
as thermal monitors in the core contain silver. Again, these are double
encapsulated and should not leak.

The Rx Head O-rings are generally the culprits. There is an outer and inner
ring with a leak off line between to determine any flow out of the reactor
head. The O-rings are replaced each refueling outage and generally show
some degradation.
