RE: Death of Hisashi Ouchi

Judging from the daily reports we got on RADSAFE (thank you, Tosh Ushino), I
have the impression that Mr. Ouchi was treated with great care and concern,
and the suggestions that the physicians were "merely prolonging his
suffering to advance their medical research" sounds egregious to me!

Clearly only my own opinion.

You raise  ethical questions that should be addressed.  Were the physicians
helping Mr. Ouchi are merely prolonging his suffering to advance their
medical research?  Did they have his informed consent?

I can't pass judgment on this.  All I can say is, if it were me:  No thanx;
let me go with peace and dignity.
