Michael,

A good and inexpensive instrument for these type of measurements is made
by MetroLab. It can be found at GMW Assoc. in Calif. The Model No. is
THM7025. Contact Ian Walker. A link is attached.

The HI-3550 Static Magnetic Field Monitor is an excellent solution for
health and safety measurements of static magnetic fields, however, it
is, unfortunately, no longer available.
