You caught an easily overlooked point.  The study was
of 361 already-infertile men.  

A much better study would be to compare randomly
selected men (where researchers would be blind as to
the men's fertility status) against each other with
regard to hours of cell phone use. As you note, there
could still be confounders in that study with regard
to lack of exercise, Type A personality, etc.
