This is intended for James Salsman. Since he made this claim on
RADSAFE it's only proper that he substantiate it here.
James, on March 6, you wrote, "So Dr. Kang goes back and reviews
700+ medical records, and finds that the number of birth defects has
increased 20%."
By medical records, do you mean Kang pulled the charts of over 700
patients and read them? Does he have 700+ patients whose charts he can
pull and read? I don't know how many patients the typical doctor has, but
that sounds like a lot of patients. Plus it would have to be all patients
who were assigned to Iraq, or to theaters where depleted uranium was used.
What is your source for this claim (of 700+), and where did Kang
publish his findings? To keep track of this many medical records, Kang
would have had to put something in writing.
