It is not so much that radiation is OK -- it is that people like Cathy Garger, who has no knowledge of the subject, are dominating a subject on the internet because parrots post their musings everywhere. Her statement "the use of internationally illegal radiological Uranium weapons of war in the middle east" is blatantly false. To start with the term "radiological Uranium weapons" is something she and Romi Elnagar and Bob Nichols coined. Secondly, the use of depleted uranium munitions to kill tanks in the Gulf War and in the run to Baghdad in 2003 never was illegal by any standard; that is a claim made by San Francisco lawyer Karen Parker, a left over from the street people in Berkeley who protested the Vietnam War. She and her fellow parrots are of the belief that if you shout a lie enough times it will become true. I have contacted both the UN and the International Criminal Court in the Hague. Neither have yet replied, but the entire claim that Parker, Garger, now Bugs, makes is bogus. Depleted uranium is not a radiological weapon; it is not a dirty bomb; it is a bullet. I wonder what lies are in this supposed resource. I am sure it never discusses the extent to which radiation has naturally occured all over the world since its formation 4.5 billion years ago.

Whether you are concerned about the resurgence of nuclear power, the stockpiling of nuclear weapons, the use of internationally illegal radiological Uranium weapons of war in the Middle East, and/or the mining, production, manufacturing, burning, dropping, exploding, and open air "testing" of chemically toxic and radiologically poisonous Depleted Uranium here inside the United States? When you come across those who do not appear to be similarly concerned, here is an excellent resource to share with them.

This 147 page online booklet outlines just some of the radiological and nuclear disasters that have occurred from 1947 to early 2006. Even if you think you know all about nuclear power and radiological weapons, my guess is you'll discover that there are far more radiological releases, accidents, and disasters that affect human and environmental health than most of us ever realize.

So for any who deny that we are nuking ourselves and our planet by this widespread, promiscuous use of radiation in our air, water, and soil? Send them this document and let these radiological incidents speak for themselves.
