AW: AW: [ RadSafe ] Asbury Park Press on Mangano's press conference

Louis,

Probably you expect me to apologize for my limited knowledge about the US
paper market, about the various US geographical, demographical and
historical data. Sorry, I have to disappoint you. Even we Europeans do not
know everything........

Motivated by your comment I looked into Google and found: Trenton has
according to the last census 84 630 inhabitants. Vienna has roughly within
city borders 1 800 000. New Jersey has on an area of 22 608 km2 8 724 560
inhabitants as of 2006, Austria has slightly more than 8 millions on an area
of about 83 000 km2, of which a large part is mountains and uninhabited.

Looking at those numbers the two main countrywide newspapers in Austria sure
have a by far higher circulation than the Asbury Park Press. Have I ever
forwarded a single article about the incredible nonsense which is
distributed constantly on these newspapers about nuclear power plants,
global warming fighting, wind energy, solar electricity, radiation etc.
etc.??? I am sure your comment would be similar to mine about the influence
of "Kronen-Zeitung" or "Kurier" and its relevance!

We Europeans, at least the better educated ones, use to look across the
borders of our countries - let them be small or big, and we do not believe
that Europe is the middle of the world.

Best regards,

Franz

The Asbury Park Press (how influential is this paper or I would rather
believe that it might be a very local one) presents an article on Mangano's
press
conference at ???? (where? At Trenton?? - never heard of it).

The second or third largest paper in the most densely populated State in
the
US, Trenton, State Capitol of the aforementioned State oh yea and likely
the
site of the second or third most major battle of the US Revolution. Here I
though Europeans prided themselves on knowing world history?
