Dear collegues,

As the year 2008 slowly proceeds, more and more invitations and
announcements for conferences are received! Please pay attention to the
ICRM-LLRMT conference. I have attended the one in Seville 1995 and can
testify that it was really excellent.

For details please consult the attachment, but note that the deadline for
submission of abstracts is Feb. 15.

Best regards,

Franz

Betreff: First announcement of the ICRM-LLRMT'08 conference, 22.-26.
September 2008

Dear Colleague,

The Low Level Techniques Working Group of the International Committee for
Radionuclide Metrology (ICRM) is pleased to announce that its next
conference will be held at the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB)
in Braunschweig, Germany, September 22-26, 2008. The conference follows on
from earlier events in Monaco 1991, Seville 1995, Mol 1999 and Vienna 2003.
The conference is mainly focused on measurement techniques for the
determination of low activities in various fields of applications. Attached
please find the First Announcement and Call for Papers for the conference.
Further information are also available on the conference web page
http://www.ptb.de/ICRM-LLRMT/ . Kindly note that if, as we hope, you are
interested in participating in the conference, you should return the
completed pre-registration form, preferably as soon as possible, but not
later than February 15, 2008. (An online-version will be available soon at
the conference web page.)

Looking forward to hearing from you in due course.

Yours sincerely

Dirk Arnold
(Chairperson, Local Organising Committee)
