Just to add to the furor: my wife travelled from Orlando to Kansas City the
other day. In the Orlando Airport, she went through the Scanner. And was
then pulled aside for a full body search "for suspicious articles on her
body". They made her take off her bra, because it had an underwire..... and
went the whole hog on patting down the rest of her body (including "spread
your cheeks....."
So what is the point, if the morons are incapable of using the scanner and
making a reasonable assessment of what they see.....
And the poor old lady following her was forces to remove her Depend
(incontinence underwear)! (I guess they were looking for hazardous fluids!).
I just wonder what they would do with a woman at "that time of the
month".....
Interesting that yesterday on the TV, there was a comment from the head of
TSA complaining about the number of passengers who had "no concept of
personal hygiene"

OK... now, if ANY of those weapons could be connected to any sort of danger,
a plot, or the potential to have a plot that could affect airline or
passanger safety you can be your next paycheck that TSA, DHS, the White
House, and various Congress persons would have had press conferences... so
we're back to behavioural screening and evaluation... a major part of what
EL AL has been doing for decades... sucessfully...
Maybe people were going to use the drugs to get over the screening.
And, I'm sure that Fox News is only concerned with heroines if they're the
wrong political persuasion or nationality...
(Obviously) My own personal opinion

"This year alone, the use of advanced imaging technology has led to the
detection of over 130 prohibited, illegal or dangerous items," TSA spokesman
Greg Soule told FoxNews.com. The TSA would not disclose exactly what those
items were, but it said they included weapons like ceramic knives and
various drugs -- including a syringe filled with heroine hidden in a
passenger's underwear."
Seriously, those "syringes filled with heroine" are super dangerous. You
ought to see what trouble those heroes in syringes come up with.
Thanks,
