Can't disagree with your premise. One can disagree without resorting to disrespect, rudeness and name calling.

Listen, I am here to let you know what I have discovered and what I think. This may be useful for you. If not you can ignore it. If youi have a point, or if I have missed something, you can say so. If you dont want to listen, dont open the posting. I try not to be drawn by all the insults thrown at me. I dont insult anyone. I am interested in what you guys have to say. Some of it I disagree with and some of it is valuable and some of it helps me to focus on the gaps in my knowledge. I hope we can continue these discussions in a spirit of respect and amicability.
Sincerely
Chris Busby

Joel,
I generally appreciated your comments on RADSAFE, though very rare recently. So please allow me to somewhat disagree with your recent comment...
It has happpened a few weeks ago that the (in the US, but not in Europe) well known anti-nuclear "activist", who makes his living and his reputation by his scientifically unacceptable claims, his participation and membership in fake organisations like "European Commission on bla, bla, bla" and others, started to bother RADSAFE. As you can find out on Google he is employed by US lawyers in cases concerning radioactivity.
So what? Should we scientists accept this ridiculing of our profession by this person? The latest ridiculing is to present us with his "measurements" at Fukushima. Are we not allowed to answer to them? Are we not allowed to question his "research"?
Please allow me to comment that your approach is wrong - you should have asked the person who started the trouble to refrain from more postings.
Best wishes,
Franz
