[ RadSafe ] DOT and dose calibrator source

Gary:  This may be a day late and a dollar short, however I did run this question by our shipping guy.  Below is his answer.

Dewey,

Per our discussion this morning, I ran the source through Ramship as both normal and special form.  Both scenarios have the source packaged as UN2910 Limited Quantity.  As we talked about this morning, the kicker would be dose rate on contact having to be less than 0.5 mr/hr.  

I would ship this using UPS or Fedex.  Actually any common carrier will do that accepts such materials.  I would not drive it myself due to training concerns and such.
