You're one of the referees, aren't you?  Is this in one of those tame
"journals", where any anti-nuke activist who wants to claim to be
published in a "scientific journal" can get anything they want
published?

Not a referee on the journal it is going to. I have refereed papers for The Lancet. Is that a tame journal?
